Job DescriptionProject CoordinatorIndustry: Plumbing/HVAC/MechanicalLocation: MilwaukieSummary: Local Company has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will assist the Project Managers in their daily activities including organizing, maintaining project, and estimating documentation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Assisting with estimating needs (pricing, customer/supplier/subcontractor communication, permitting issues)
- Assist with creation and management of proposals and contracts, responsible for maintenance and accuracy of information in the job files. Assist with issuing submittals, RFI’s, purchase orders, drawings and specifications, punch lists, job closure documentation.
- Manage close-out process by assisting Project Managers with preparing operation and maintenance manuals, gather and assemble as-built drawings.
- Create a variety of documents, reports, and records including agendas, minutes, and project logs.
- Produce and update technician schedules for jobs as directed by Project Managers.
- Utilize project management software for managing documents, communications, field reports, and change management.
- Attend meetings for projects, prepare agendas/minutes
- Assist in applying, issuance and closure of permits on jobs.
- Provide administrative duties and provide support to accounting regarding construction administration and billing
- Other duties as assigned.

- Be able to learn and apply new technology as needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Construction experience a plus
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree from a college or university is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC and/or Plumbing or experience in specialty trades is preferred
