Entry-Level IT Support Technician - Remote & On-Site

Your Role: As our newest IT Support Technician, you'll be the hero our team members turn to when technological challenges arise. Whether you're solving problems remotely or supporting one of our sites in the field, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with our Technology Operations Manager to deliver Unimaginable Service to our external and internal customers.
What You'll Do:
- Be a friendly voice with skilled hands taking ownership of technology tickets through our Zendesk Platform.
- Partner with IT Connections, our trusted vendor, orchestrate seamless technology deployments, repairs, and logistics.
- Travel within 300 miles of our New Orleans home base (about 25% travel) to sites as needed. Seasonally, higher travel may be necessary.
- Become our go-to expert for Windows systems, Office 365, wireless networks, and the diverse software that powers education.
- Dive into exciting special projects that will stretch your skills and contribute to our company's growth story.
- Keep everything organized with detailed documentation and asset tracking.
- Make technology accessible and less intimidating for users of all skill levels.
What We're Looking For:
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support, customer service, or helpdesk roles (we believe in potential!)
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Natural problem-solving abilities with Windows systems and networks
- Genuine enthusiasm for helping others succeed with technology
- Strong communication skills – you can explain tech concepts to anyone
- Reliable transportation and driver's license
- Your own cell phone to stay connected with our team

Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Spanish communication skills required
- Ability to travel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with standard office software suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to code-switch communication style based on audience needs
- High level of empathy when working with frustrated or confused users
- Critical thinking skills and ability to problem-solve on the fly
- Comfort learning new software and processes quickly
- Ability to Travel
- Valid Driver’s License
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Office 365 experience (but we're happy to teach you!)
- Some MacOS familiarity
- IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+
- Background in education technology or working with service providers
- Experience coordinating projects or managing logistics
