2nd Shift Quality Technician

Job DescriptionShift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Some weekends required)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Location: McCalla, AL
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in a fast-paced auto parts assembly environment. This role is key to ensuring our products meet strict quality standards and supporting our production teams with accurate inspections and documentation.
Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and detailed inspections on auto parts and assembled components
• Verify product quality using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
• Document inspection results accurately and complete quality reports
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and communicate issues to supervisors
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following safety and 5S standards
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality targets are met

Requirements:

• Previous quality or manufacturing experience preferred (automotive experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize defects
• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and inspection sheets
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 12-hour night shift
