Responsibilities:
• Represent claimants or carriers and self-insured employers in workers' compensation cases, ensuring thorough case preparation and effective advocacy.
• Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of organization and efficiency.
• Collaborate with a positive and client-focused team to deliver exceptional legal services.
• Produce consistent income and billable hours that align with firm expectations.
• Participate in a hybrid work schedule, including a rotating four-day work week, to maintain work-life balance.
• Utilize case management and document management software to streamline legal processes and case tracking.
• Contribute to the firm's growth by demonstrating leadership skills and exploring opportunities for advancement.
• Draft legal documents, briefs, and complaints with precision and clarity.
• Handle civil litigation procedures and claim administration effectively.
• Engage in ongoing development to stay updated on workers' compensation laws and practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law, representing claimants, carriers, or self-insured employers.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment with strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, self-confidence, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a client-focused team.
• Demonstrated success in producing excellent income and meeting billable hour goals.
• Proficiency in using case management software, document management tools, and other relevant legal technologies.
