HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible General Neurologist for a permanent, hospital-employed position with an established neuroscience program in Southeast Alabama.
This is a fully outpatient opportunity with no inpatient coverage, call, weekends, or holidays. The Neurologist will practice at one location with a dedicated nurse practitioner, trained neurodiagnostic technicians, in-office testing, and access to a multidisciplinary neuroscience team.
Neurology residents completing training in 2027 are encouraged to apply. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
Position Highlights
- Permanent, full-time, hospital-employed position
- Completely outpatient practice
- No inpatient responsibilities
- No call coverage
- No weekends or holidays
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Practice at one location with no travel required
- Dedicated nurse practitioner in the clinic
- Neurodiagnostic testing available on-site
- Trained testing technicians
- Access to a Neuromuscular Rehabilitation and Balance Center
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with neurosurgeons, neuroendovascular specialists, interventional neurologists, and neurohospitalists
- Optional opportunities to teach residents and medical students
- Experienced Neurologists and 2027 graduates considered
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult patients with neurological conditions
- Diagnose and treat headaches, migraines, neuropathies, seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, memory disorders, and other nervous-system conditions
- Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
- Order and interpret appropriate neurological testing
- Perform and interpret EMG and nerve-conduction studies when appropriately trained and credentialed
- Coordinate care with rehabilitation specialists and other neuroscience providers
- Educate patients and families regarding neurological diagnoses and treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in clinical quality and patient-safety initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Eligible for appropriate hospital and clinical privileges
- Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training is preferred
- Dedicated residency training or experience performing EMG/NCS is strongly preferred
- Current residents graduating in 2027 are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaborative-care skills

- Estimated base compensation of $350,000–$450,000 annually

The compensation range is an estimate based on current neurology compensation benchmarks and comparable hospital-employed opportunities. The final offer will depend on training, experience, EMG/NCS capabilities, productivity expectations, and the employer’s approved compensation structure.
