- Organize daily work schedules for all nursing staff to ensure proper coverage throughout the facility.
- Follow facility guidelines in determining proper staffing per nursing wing and shift based on current resident census.
- Approving/denying PTO for nursing staff
- Maintain a record of all schedules worked.
- Communicate to nursing staff the shift and schedule availability.
- Maintain daily attendance record for nursing staff.
- Contact staff as necessary to schedule coverage.
- Will be included in the on-call rotation
- Maintain updated telephone list of nursing staff.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Ensure that all residents are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Report all allegations of resident abuse and/or misappropriation of resident property.
- Attend in-services as necessary to stay abreast of changes pertaining to the nursing department.
- Help with various audits
- Other duties may be assigned.
