  • Conduct routine diagnostics to resolve system outages and connectivity disruptions.
  • Perform updates, manage system health, and troubleshoot issues within both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Reinforce system security using layered protections, user training, and device-level safeguards such as firewalls and endpoint defense tools.
  • Track system metrics and analyze network traffic to ensure peak performance and preempt potential bottlenecks.
  • Deliver mid- to advanced-tier support for workstation and mobile technologies, including cross-platform environments (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
  • Maintain documentation for processes, resolutions, and changes to the environment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with phone system configuration and support for VoIP technologies.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed in support of operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related discipline, certifications, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and scaling complex infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in user and policy administration within centralized directory frameworks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of virtual hosting platforms (e.g., cluster-based virtualization with VM/container support).
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade firewalls and network security devices.
  • Strong understanding of core network services and protocols (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Experience supporting and maintaining both Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Proficient in configuring and supporting remote access tools and encrypted connection methods.
  • Exposure to VoIP platform management and user provisioning.
  • Able to provide technical support across a range of hardware, operating systems, and software tools.
  • Competent in productivity tools such as spreadsheets, word processors, and email platforms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
