Job Description

Position : SAP Techno-Functional Consultant

Location : Washington DC Onsite

Duration : Long term contract

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Consultant to support, enhance, and maintain SAP solutions. The ideal candidate must possess strong functional knowledge across SAP modules along with hands-on technical development and integration expertise. This role will collaborate closely with business users, architects, developers, and support teams to deliver scalable and reliable SAP solutions.

Responsibilities:

Provide techno-functional support for SAP modules including configuration, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
Gather and evaluate business requirements and convert them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Perform SAP customization, configuration, WRICEF development, and integration tasks.
Manage SAP change requests, workflows, defect fixes, and enhancements.
Design and develop interfaces, reports, conversions, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production deployments.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical/functional issues in a timely manner.
Prepare documentation – design specs, functional specs, test scripts, configurations, and process flows.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project milestones.
Provide production support and handle user queries.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of SAP experience with both technical and functional responsibilities.
Strong knowledge in one or more SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, HR, PP, PM).
Hands-on ABAP development experience including:
- Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs
- ALV, SmartForms, Dialog Programming
Experience with Integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs.
Strong experience with WRICEF objects.
Experience with SAP troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
Strong experience with data migration, testing, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migration projects.
Experience supporting large-scale SAP environments in enterprise settings.
Knowledge of Solution Manager, SAP security, workflow, and FIORI is a plus.
SAP certifications are an added advantage.
