What we’re looking for:
We need a detail-oriented systems expert who can provide the configuration and programming to take our installation projects across the finish line. After the equipment has been installed, you’re the one who makes it come to life. You have a broad understanding of AVL systems, including PA systems, audio control, video capture and display systems, and lighting ... oh and throw in some networking knowledge too, because everything is networked these days.
Focus: 60-70% Commissioning (Warehouse and On-site) | 30-40% General AV Design Support
What you’ll be doing:
- System Commissioning: Program a wide range of audiovisual systems for live performance spaces
- Client Training: Meet with client teams to provide expert-level training on the operation of their new AV systems
- Technical Troubleshooting: Perform service calls and site visits to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and provide a resolution
- Design Support: Occasionally, assist the Design Engineer with creating comprehensive system diagrams, cable schedules, and pull sheets to ensure the Install Team has the resources needed to complete a smooth installation
- Continuous Improvement: Expand your knowledge of AV hardware and software to provide best operating systems to our clients possible
Requirements & Preferences
- Required: Demonstrated, hands-on experience configuring a variety of audiovisual components. We don’t expect you to know it all, but being very familiar with a few core system types, combined with a fundamental understanding of other systems that can be built upon, is necessary. Oh, and you need to bring a great attitude, too
- Nice to Have: Certs for systems like Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, or AVIXA CTS/CTS-D
