Kohler Distributing Company is the #1 Beer and other Alcoholic beverage wholesale distributor in Northern NJ. We are 300+ team members strong, working in a 250,000 square foot office and warehousing facility. We stride ourselves in providing the best support and service to our nearly 3000 retail customers.

We are currently looking for a new entry level Fleet Mechanic to join our Team. This position reports to our Fleet Manager and ensures the Company's vehicles run at performance, efficiency, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles, specifically commercial trucks and passenger vehicles. Our state of the art Garage spans nearly 7,000 square feet to provide the best support to our Team of Fleet Mechanics.

Essential responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:

• Perform all duties of a skilled technician.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate repair.
• Minor Fabrication work as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records.
• Other Ad Hoc duties as needed to maintain our Shop.

Applicant must possess the following requirements:

• Must have own tools.
• At least 1 year of general mechanical knowledge
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license which meets the Company's Safe Driving Policy requirements.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to follow compliance with Company Policy and safety regulations.
• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, lay, push/pull, and lift up to 80lbs occasionally as needed to perform duties.

This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $20-28 per hour, Monday through Friday, 5:00A.M. to 1:30pm plus overtime. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20-28 per hour, based on experience

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
