Kiddie Time Child Care Center is looking for dependable, nurturing, and energetic individuals to join our teaching team!
No professional childcare experience? That's okay! We are willing to train the right person who is reliable, coachable, eager to learn, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
At Kiddie Time, teachers don't simply watch children play. Our teachers are present, responsive, playful, and intentional. We get on the floor, talk with children, comfort them when they're upset, explore alongside them, and help them learn through everyday experiences.
What You'll Do
- Actively play and interact with children throughout the day
- Get on children's level and participate in their learning
- Talk, read, sing, explore, and have meaningful conversations
- Provide warm, nurturing, and responsive care
- Support children through emotions and challenging moments
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, meals, and caregiving routines
- Participate in classroom activities, routines, and transitions
- Maintain active supervision and children's safety
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, center policies, and licensing requirements
- Work collaboratively with your teaching team
- Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and management
- Participate in training and professional development
- Be open to coaching, feedback, and continued learning
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who is dependable, patient, nurturing, energetic, coachable, and ready to learn.
Previous childcare experience is welcomed, but not required.
Current Early Childhood Education students are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with previous licensed childcare experience, ECE coursework, or early childhood credentials may qualify for a higher starting wage within the posted range.
⏰ Availability Required
Applicants must have consistent Monday–Friday availability to be scheduled between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM.
No weekends!
This does not mean you will work from 7:30 AM–6:30 PM every day. Your scheduled shift will fall within this availability window based on the needs of the center.
Pay
$14.00–$16.00 per hour
Starting pay is determined by relevant experience, education, credentials, demonstrated skills, and the position offered.
