Pay: $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
Multihousing Depot (MHD) is growing and looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Estimator to join our team in Burlington, NJ. No prior estimating experience is required — training is provided. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, strong in Excel, comfortable working with numbers and documentation, and eager to learn.
This role supports the preparation of project estimates for cabinetry, countertops, and appliance packages used in apartment renovations, senior living communities, and new construction projects nationwide.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in preparing estimates for cabinetry, countertops, and appliance packages
- Review construction drawings, scopes of work, and specifications
- Enter and maintain pricing data in Excel and internal systems
- Support bid preparation, revisions, and estimate updates
- Track changes and maintain organized project documentation
- Work with Sales, Design, Production, and Project Management teams
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working with numbers and technical information
- Ability to learn software quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred but Not Required
- Exposure to construction, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, or building materials
- Experience reviewing blueprints, drawings, or technical documents
- Experience in estimating, project coordination, purchasing, or data analysis
