Job Description:
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Mid Level Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure supporting Moodle LMS environments and enterprise applications for U.S. Coast Guard and federal government customers.
Duties:
- Manage cloud-hosted Moodle environments
- Support AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government infrastructure operations
- Monitor system performance, scalability, and availability
- Assist with backups, disaster recovery, and security controls
- Support DevSecOps and deployment activities
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and federal cybersecurity requirements
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4–7 years of relevant cloud engineering experience
- Experience supporting secure federal, DHS, or DoD cloud environments
- Knowledge of AWS GovCloud and/or Microsoft Azure Government
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and federal cybersecurity requirements
- Security+ CE certification preferred

Salary Range:
Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $110,000.000-$120,000.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
