Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join UNIVERSAL LIFT SYSTEMS LLC as a Service Writer and be the vital link between our customers and our service team! In this dynamic role, you will help ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support for their warehouse and construction equipment, all while working in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level customer service by coordinating, scheduling and ensuring repairs and maintenance of customer equipment.
- Prepare detailed service estimates for all customer repairs and maintenance.
- Managing teams of technicians with accurate Communication to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Cross train for interdepartmental needs as in assist with ordering parts as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Review, Finalize and invoice all completed work orders daily.
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge of Material Handling or Heavy Equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of computer systems and service management software.
- Ability to multitask and willingness to adapt to business needs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, positive demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in service writing preferred.
