Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Technician B for an onsite position located in Glennville, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in electronics repair and testing who want to build hands-on experience in a professional warehouse environment. The Technician B will be responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical and electronic components in accordance with company and industry standards.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem-solving, analyzing technical issues down to the component level, and delivering consistent, high-quality work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, a solid understanding of electronic circuitry, and experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components and devices.

Diagnose technical issues to the component level using analytical thinking and established testing methods.

Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness when completing repair orders and assigned projects.

Read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical documentation.

Adhere to all quality and performance standards to ensure reliability and compliance.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse safety regulations.

Use proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures when managing hard drives or sensitive components.

Collaborate with team members while being capable of working independently when necessary.

Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs or warehouse operations.
Required Skills and Experience

Must be able to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, where applicable.

Strong understanding of electronic circuits, theory, and system functionality.

Skilled in soldering and de-soldering (both surface mount and through-hole techniques).

Proficient in the use of diagnostic and testing tools, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronic components using logical and analytical reasoning.

Familiarity with ESD safety standards and best practices.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.

Proficiency in computer use for accurate data entry and reporting.

Education Requirements

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Work is performed in a warehouse environment with moderate physical activity.

Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. when necessary.

Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, or pulling may be required throughout the shift.
