12-month renewable contract to possible Direct Hire in Camden, AR.
Chipton Ross is seeking MULTIPLE (8) Project Engineers for a contract opportunity in Camden, AR.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Knowledgeable of all design and manufacturing aspects of assigned program(s)
Technically capable of assessing non-conformances and making accurate dispositions
Ability to work onsite supporting critical production programs
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Previous experience in root cause and corrective action analysis (RCCA)
Working knowledge of CAD, GD&T, engineering tools and test equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles, DFMEA / PFMEA, and MRL improvements
Excellent decision-making and closure-driving skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
40% Real-time WIP NC prioritization - repair, scrap evaluation, functional coordination
40% Real-time process optimization, yield improvement support - reduce waste and optimize resources
10% Factory-specific technical input for Root Cause and Corrective Action and systemic learning
10% Assist in designing and testing new equipment, processes, and systems
Represent the engineering center of excellence to assess and resolve production non-conformances
Partner with Quality on NC resolution, support Material Review Board (MRB) processes
Support TDP integration, classification of Key Characteristics, AOP, and risk management updates
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience working root cause investigations and non-conformances
Prior experience in project, manufacturing, process, or integration/test engineering
Experience designing and testing new equipment, systems, or processes
Six Sigma Certification preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior Project Engineering experience, or
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of Project Engineering related experience, or
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Project Engineering experience
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day (4/10 schedule)
Hourly pay rate is $76.47

3) Experience with Machining
4) Experience with Molding and/or Casting
5) Experience with Adhesives
6) Composite repair experience
7) Any form of NDT experience
8) Chemical systems of any kind help to understand many of the elements of this type of product
9) Production Floor experience
10) Mastery of Excel such as Pivot Table.
11) Clearance is required. Manager to review candidates that do not have clearance but are willing to obtain clearance.
12) If they worked as a Conventional Machinist (Not CNC) background is a huge plus.
13) They should know what type of tools are required for Rockets.
14) MRB experience. They don't want people that go through the manual and copy and fix issues. They want people that can think outside the box and find new ways to fix issues, technically creating new manuals for each problem as they come in.
15) Master in Excel, must show experience with Pivot Tables and know how to plot.
16) Probability statistical analysis experience needed.
17) They should know what Standard Deviation is.
18) They don't want to see designers
