SHR Talent is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Pleasant Prairie, WI to hire an experienced HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys working closely with both employees and leadership and can effectively manage a broad range of HR responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day Human Resources operations and serve as a key HR partner to employees and leadership.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace issues.
- Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Partner with leadership to promote accountability and consistency across the organization.
- Support workplace safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee engagement, and overall workforce effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR management experience.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
- Previous management experience required.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin and Illinois employment laws.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and hiring practices.
- Safety and OSHA experience.
- Strong communication, employee relations, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident and assertive leadership style with the ability to navigate challenging situations and hold others accountable.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Local candidates preferred.
