Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist in a collaborative educational environment. This full-time, permanent contract position offers the chance to work across a diverse school district, providing essential services and guidance to students, educators, and families.
Required Qualifications:
- Hold current state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience (clinical or practicum) working with K-12 populations
- Ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of special education law, IEP process, and data-driven intervention strategies
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and interpret results to inform instructional and behavioral planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate counseling sessions and crisis interventions for at-risk students
- Serve as a resource for positive behavioral supports and RTI/MTSS initiatives
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and district-wide mental health initiatives
- Lead professional development and consultation for staff on best practices for student well-being
- Support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment across the district
