Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Microelectronics Assembler to join a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong manual dexterity, a willingness to learn, and an interest in electronics manufacturing. In this role, you will support the assembly and testing of advanced electronic products and systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Read and interpret assembly procedures, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Utilize microscopes, measuring devices, and electronic test equipment to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Perform work on components ranging from microscopic to larger assemblies requiring visual magnification.
  • Operate hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, cutters, torque drivers, and screwdrivers, as well as pneumatic tools.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required data entry within company systems.
  • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and manufacturing standards at all times.

QualificationsRequired:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong work ethic with a demonstrated record of reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.
  • Ability and willingness to learn industry standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
  • Must be eligible to obtain an interim security clearance prior to starting employment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronics manufacturing, electrical assembly, or microelectronics assembly.
  • Knowledge of wiring, soldering, ESD procedures, and electronic test equipment.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and mechanical assembly processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chelmsford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
