About the Role
Norfolk Iron & Metal is seeking a motivated Assistant Supervisor to help lead our night shift processing team. This position works alongside the Supervisor to support employees, drive productivity, maintain quality standards, and promote a safe, positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to employees
- Help achieve production, quality, and safety goals
- Communicate expectations and company policies
- Assist with employee training and development
- Promote teamwork across departments and shifts
- Support continuous improvement and error reduction

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude
