Annual ED Volume: 24,000 visits
Opportunity Highlights

24-hour physician coverage with strong APP support
-
12-hour physician shifts: 6:00 AM6:00 PM and 6:00 PM6:00 AM
-
Additional physician coverage needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
-
APP coverage every day with 9:00 AM9:00 PM and 1:00 PM1:00 AM shifts
-
Minimum commitment of 2 twelve-hour shifts

Residents rotate through the ED
-
Broad specialty support including Hospital Medicine, OB, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT
-
Same-city/system transfer options available for Pediatrics, Cardiology, GI, and Orthopedics
-
Physicians must be comfortable serving as supervising physicians for NPs and PAs
Candidate Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
-
Completion of an accredited 3-year residency
-
ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates
-
Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
-
Active Tennessee DEA with TN address

Board Certified through an accepted ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, American Board of Physician Specialties, or AOA pathway

Non-ABEM physicians must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP
-
Case logs from the last 2 years

Preeclampsia/Eclampsia CME required initially and every 2 years for reappointment
Credentialing Requirements

MMR and Varicella vaccination documentation or qualifying immunity titers

Current TB documentation, including two-step testing or qualifying QuantiFERON results

Chest X-ray required for positive TB testing

Documentation of specialized training for applicable procedures
Malpractice: $1M per occurrence / $3M annual aggregate
