Summary:

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing supply chain performance and developing data-driven solutions that improve inventory health, operational efficiency, and customer service. This role supports procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing operations by developing performance metrics, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends, and recommending process improvements that support business objectives.


Working closely with Supply Chain leadership and cross-functional teams, the Supply Chain Analyst leads initiatives focused on inventory optimization, excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory reduction, inventory turns, forecasting performance, working capital improvement, and operational reporting while supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.


Essential Functions:

· Analyze supply chain performance by developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations that improve operational performance.

· Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards, reports, and scorecards that measure inventory performance, procurement, planning, logistics, supplier performance, and customer delivery metrics.

· Lead initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory by analyzing inventory trends, developing corrective action plans, and partnering with internal teams and customers to improve inventory utilization.

· Monitor inventory turns, inventory aging, material consumption, and inventory investment while recommending strategies that improve working capital and inventory performance.

· Evaluate demand changes, forecast accuracy, and planning data to identify inventory risks and recommend process improvements that improve planning effectiveness.

· Analyze supplier performance, including on-time delivery, lead times, inventory availability, and material shortages to support strategic sourcing and supplier performance initiatives.

· Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, supply chain performance issues, and operational challenges while developing data-driven recommendations that improve business performance.

· Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to support cross-functional improvement initiatives and strategic business objectives.

· Support ERP system reporting, data integrity, business intelligence initiatives, and analytical tools that improve operational visibility and decision-making.

· Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and business analyses that communicate operational performance, financial impact, emerging risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.

· Support process improvement initiatives by evaluating current supply chain processes, recommending best practices, and assisting with implementation of standardized procedures.

· Maintain awareness of supply chain trends, analytics tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities and operational performance.

· Inventory Strategy: Ability to analyze inventory health, inventory turns, working capital, and material utilization to support inventory optimization.

· Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory Management: Ability to analyze excess and obsolete inventory, identify reduction opportunities, and support inventory recovery initiatives.

· Inventory Performance Analysis: Ability to evaluate inventory metrics, material consumption, and inventory trends to improve operational performance.

· Business Reporting & Data Analysis: Ability to develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and business analyses that support operational and strategic decision-making.

· KPI Strategy & Performance Management: Ability to develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators that measure supply chain effectiveness.

· Forecasting & Demand Analysis: Ability to evaluate demand trends, forecast accuracy, and planning performance to support supply chain decision-making.

· Procurement Analytics: Ability to analyze supplier performance, procurement data, and material availability to support sourcing and operational improvements.

· Financial & Operational Analysis: Ability to evaluate inventory investment, working capital, and operational performance to support business objectives.

· Problem Solving: Ability to identify supply chain issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop effective corrective actions.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to achieve business objectives.

· Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify opportunities that improve reporting, inventory performance, planning effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, business intelligence platforms, and data visualization tools.


Qualifications:

· Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field required.

· Certifications: Preferred:

o ASCM Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

o ASCM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

o Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

o Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent business intelligence certification)

· Experience:

o Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain analytics, inventory management, procurement, production planning, logistics, manufacturing operations, or a related analytical role.

o Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) experience strongly preferred.

o Experience analyzing excess and obsolete inventory, inventory turns, forecasting, inventory planning, or working capital performance.

o Experience developing business reports, dashboards, and performance metrics utilizing ERP systems and business intelligence tools.

o Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing operations.

o Demonstrated experience identifying trends, performing root cause analysis, and implementing process improvements.

o Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis functions.

o Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other business intelligence and reporting tools preferred.


Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods during the work shift.

· Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work.

· Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment for prolonged periods.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods.

· Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift office materials up to 25 pounds.

· Ability to visually review documents, reports, spreadsheets, and computer displays with or without corrective lenses.

· Ability to move throughout office and production areas as business needs require.

· Ability to wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ESD protection devices.

Work Environment:

· Work is performed in a professional, climate-controlled office setting with exposure to standard office noise levels and lighting. The role routinely uses typical office equipment, including

computers, phones, printers, and related peripherals. Duties may involve extended periods of sitting, sustained computer work, and regular interaction with internal staff. Employees may occasionally access production areas, which may expose them to elevated noise levels, temperature variations, or manufacturing activity. All employees are expected to comply with workplace policies, safety protocols, and organizational procedures.


Travel: 0-10% of the time based on business needs.
