About You
As our Portfolio Property Manager, you will play a critical role in the growth of our company, through maintaining high-end concierge medical offices. As well as assisting with the annual buildout of 5-10 new medical offices per year, each approximately 3,500 square feet. You will collaborate with, and coordinate the work of consulting architect, general contractor, and designer, to create uniquely beautiful workspaces. You will also ensure that all construction related legalities and safety requirements are covered. No medical experience is required.
A Day in the Life
After brewing your favorite cup of coffee, you will help manage all property management related to existing and new medical office sites. Including but not limited to managing all aspects of office repair and maintenance, vendor relationships, insurance claims, and budgeting. This is a full-time remote Contractor position that requires travel, and reports to the Director of Operations.
Existing medical offices
- Responsible for all construction-related needs for the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the medical offices.
- Coordinate all needed construction-related work needed with the medical office staff and the chosen vendors.
- Manage any utility and insurance related items for the medical offices. Including insurance claims for damages to the medical offices.
- Develop a national list of high-quality venders in each city that has a medical office. Making sure the selected vendors can work off hours and have emergency response capabilities.
- Research and secure a 24/7 repair and maintenance emergency call service and take ownership of this service for the medical offices.
- Assist Finance with any needed service including but not limited to invoices, budgets and cash planning.
- Work with the Real Estate team, Contractors and architects to help plan and manage 5-year and 10-year remodels for the medical offices. Including but not limited to being at the medical offices during a remodel to help coordinate the construction process and make sure it is a white glove experience for the medical office team and patients.
- Communicate with the medical offices on a frequent basis decided by Operations. Ensuring the medical offices are content and receiving white glove service at all times.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed in compliance with all legal requirements, building and safety codes, and all company rules, procedures, policies and guidelines.
- The position will also be responsible for the property management of the MD2 International corporate office and related facilities.
New medical office openings
- Help coordinate all FF&E setup orders.
- Help with Medical Operations setup duties
- Manage the setup of all utilities, insurance and parking for the medical offices.
- When needed, help Real Estate and Medical Operations manage the opening of approximately 5-10 new medical offices per year. Including but not limited to site visits, site reports, construction management, and final punch list items. Also assist with the development of a national construction vendor list for the Real Estate Team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Knowledge, skills and abilities related to high-end construction projects.
- Experience converting an existing space into an exceptionally designed space, and managing medical office remodels, maintenance, and repair work
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous projects through their lifecycle
- Working knowledge of building codes and standards, and contract administration
- Ability to motivate team members through obstacles, delays, and emergencies
- Proven track record keeping all stakeholders up to date on project status
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and highly developed active listening abilities

Education and Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar kind of portfolio property management role
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or 5 years of progressive work experience in property management
- Preferred Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) designation but not required.
- Preferred background in Construction Management but not required.
- Or any combination of education and experience that provides the same expertise.
