Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to support our engineering team with hands-on tasks related to panel fabrication, inventory management, and site preparation. This role involves assembling electrical or control panels according to specifications, maintaining accurate inventory of tools and materials, and packing site boxes with the necessary equipment for field installations. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and able to follow technical instructions with precision.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in panel fabrication including wiring, mounting components, and labeling.
  • Track and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed.
  • Organize and pack site boxes with tools, hardware, and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Support engineers with additional tasks as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow technical drawings or instructions.

Education:

  • High School Diploma; some college, Associates, or Bachelors preferred.



Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in a shop or warehouse environment

Physical Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
