Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain all custom configured assembly BOMs ordered for Paint shop, including creating the BOM for released product configurations and completing final BOM review by validating that BOMs are accurate (Oracle and CPQ).
  • Enter configurations into ERP, place orders to operations, set min/max quantities for paint components, and review absolute and scrap materials for approval to remove from inventory.
  • Attend quote review and production meetings
  • Complete configuration reviews (internal reviews of BOMs).
  • Maintain customer PO tracking grids and coordinate/track shipments (international and domestic) as necessary.
  • Execute field failure review meetings, track and order materials, and create failure reports for customers
  • Provide Special Price Request (SPR) calculations (and other requested documentation) for Finance (SFR, FEC, etc.)
  • Provide Special Price Request (SPR) (controllers, servo motors, etc.), which includes creating documentation for Finance and item and BOM to order as SPR.
  • Analyze inventory and cost reduction initiatives for the Paint Division.
  • Create and maintain configuration sheets per robot model and customer, run costs and update quarterly for subsidiaries.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with Research Development Engineers (R&D) to update Product Deliverables List (PDL) as necessary.
  • Update the ERP system (EBS) processes for new product releases as required.
  • Resolve product related issues


Preferred Competencies:

  • Execution of onsite responsibilities requires a significant amount of walking and standing on steel grating and concrete floors (in a manufacturing and industrial environment).
  • Position will involve exposure to chemicals (including 2K isocyanates) and solvent-based paints.
  • Good visual acuity, hearing, and speaking is required, including presenting comprehensive technical evaluations and recommendations to customers and peers
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to multi-task, to learn new tasks, remember
  • processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota
  • Ability to work overtime when required to meet special/critical deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering, or related discipline.
  • AutoCAD Bentley experience.
