Dallas Direct Auto is expanding our service department and seeking an ASE-Certified Automotive Service Technician to support our high-volume dealership. We carry a wide variety of clean-title vehicles—cars, trucks, and SUVs from many manufacturers—so technicians enjoy consistent work and strong flag-hour potential.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and maintaining the reliability standards our dealership is known for.

Responsibilities

Perform all work listed on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards

Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C
-
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify needed repairs

Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor on findings, timelines, and recommendations

Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

Conduct pre-sale inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet dealership reliability standards
Qualifications

2+ years of Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience preferred

ASE Certification required

Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair abilities (B-Level Technician)

Ability to operate modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools

Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Positive attitude and eagerness to continue developing professionally

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

High school diploma or equivalent
