3-day Flex WFH Shifts:Must be willing and able to work the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Rotation Schedule (includes weekends and holidays)
A friendly and reliable Telephone Operator is needed to work a rotating switchboard schedule at the Palmerton Telephone Company.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Answering phones and properly routing calls
- Monitoring Alarms and Medical Alerts
- Providing answering Services for Doctors offices and others
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Computer Proficiency
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs preferred Outlook, Word and Excel
- Familiarity with the local area helpful
- Excellent Communications Skills - Pleasant Speaking Voice
- Neat penmanship
- Dependability / Reliability
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to be detail oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to handle phone calls in a calm and professional manner in all circumstances
- Ability to work a very flexible schedule in order to accommodate Swing Shift (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift schedule rotation) to include weekends and holidays as required
