We are seeking an additional skilled and experienced Auto Body Painter with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team at our air-conditioned body shop. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, spraying, baking and maintaining the quality of workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer.
• Blend and match paint colors with our internal mixing room to achieve desired results and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
• Apply paint to vehicles using a spray gun, ensuring even and consistent coverage.
• Perform buffing and polishing to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Inspect painted surfaces for any imperfections, making necessary corrections to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and clean paint equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Auto Body Painter or a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, color matching, and paint mixing with Axalta Imron .
• Proficient in the use of spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Good understanding of vehicle repair and preparation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to use ladders at heights of 4-10 feet at times.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Enjoy receiving compliments from coworkers and customers for a job well done.
