ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Enters, changes, and maintains item master data critical for the successful execution of most data-related processes, from scheduling and production to shipping and finance.
  • Participates in cross-functional business processes pertaining to the item life cycle data management, including new item setup, change management, and obsolescence.
  • Runs and monitors reporting tools to ensure accurate data and smooth business functions.
  • Maintains effective internal controls, processes, and procedures related to data management and integrity.
  • Maintains efficient data systems to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and security. Collects, organizes, and validates large volumes of data from multiple sources. Monitors data quality and resolve inconsistencies or integrity issues.
  • Maintains proper documentation of product data change history and in-process projects.
  • Monitors and follows up on business process workflows to ensure they are properly approved and completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals, ensure compliance with internal policies, and facilitate regular process check-in meetings.
  • May participate in data-related projects that result in new or changed business processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience to substitute for education will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills as they will lead meetings and work cross functional with key stakeholders and team.
  • Experience with ERP item masters, bills of material and routings in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficient with computers and Excel, particularly. Knowledge of ERP systems would be preferred.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
