Our client is a leading telecommunications and mass media organization serving over 26 million customers across 41 states under the Spectrum brand. Founded in 1993, the organization operates as a major connectivity and cable operator with significant scale and assets, and trades publicly on NASDAQ under CHTR. Rate: $70.00 to $76.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters across public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize release processes, troubleshoot deployment issues, and improve delivery throughput.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Oversee containerization practices with Docker and microservices to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain high system reliability.
- Champion DevOps best practices in automation, security, and performance optimization.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

- Proven expertise deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, workflows, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on development experience with modern languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C#.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Helm.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Experience debugging distributed systems and solving complex reliability issues.
- Experience with Airflow or a similar orchestration tool (preferred).
- Advanced quantitative background such as a PhD in Mathematics (preferred).
