We are a fast-paced, high-volume truck electrical repair shop seeking a strong, organized, and assertive Service Manager / Service Advisor to take full control of customer communication and daily workflow.
This role is critical to keeping operations moving efficiently. The right candidate will be responsible for managing customers, coordinating with the shop foreman, and ensuring jobs move from check-in to completion without delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
- Communicate estimates, timelines, and job updates clearly
- Coordinate daily with the Shop Foreman on job status and priorities
- Ensure fast customer approvals and prevent job delays
- Handle customer concerns and conflict resolution professionally
- Monitor and manage workflow from check-in to final delivery
- Maintain accurate job records and status updates
- Support quality control by verifying completion standards
Requirements
- Experience in truck repair, automotive service, or related field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Assertive and confident personality (able to set expectations and take control)
- Problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
