Paralegal - Insurance Defense Litigation
Location: Syosset, NY; Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
We’re a growing law firm focused on insurance defense litigation and we’re looking for a skilled Paralegal who loves keeping cases on track and delivering high-quality support to our attorneys and clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Support insurance defense cases from start to finish
- Prepare clear and timely reports for insurance carriers
- Manage document productions, redactions, and organization
- Draft and prepare litigation documents, including:

- Summons & Complaints/Answers
- Discovery demands and responses
- Expert disclosures
- Motions
- Notices of Appeal
- Handle e-filing through NYSCEF, service of documents, and work efficiently with PACER
- Transcribe and manage documents using digital dictation tools
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in civil litigation (insurance defense preferred)
- Proficiency with NYSCEF, PACER, and digital dictation — this is a must
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and professional communication
- Team player who can also work independently
