Job DescriptionStep Into a Day on Our Install Team
You arrive, gear up, and check the build sheet with your Shop Supervisor. Today’s lineup includes a utility body upfit, a dump body install with a hitch and mud flaps, and a ladder rack with drawer modules. You move from measuring and drilling to wiring and final torque checks—making sure every detail is tight, aligned, and built to last.
What You Will Do
- Install and fit specialty work truck equipment: service/utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, plows, hitches, and commercial accessories.
- Mount racks, shelves, drawers, mud flaps, and related components with precision.
- Complete basic 12V wiring, simple hydraulic hookups, and light fabrication.
- Operate power hand tools safely and efficiently; bring and use your own basic hand tools.
- Follow safety protocols at all times and comply with PPE requirements.
- Learn alongside seasoned mechanics; support teammates and take on other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
What You Bring
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic welding ability and familiarity with electrical wiring and hydraulics.
- Comfort using power tools and shop equipment.
