Rite Wrench in Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking for a full-time Auto Service Writer to join our team. If you are fluent in both Spanish and English and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will work full-time, in-office hours with shifts from either 7 am – 4 pm or 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Say goodbye to weekend work and enjoy a consistent schedule that lets you plan your life outside of work.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As an Auto Service Writer, you will take charge of customer requests from start to finish, confirming equipment availability, sourcing and handling parts, and scheduling technicians to open jobs. You will maintain ongoing communication with customers, create and send estimates, and ensure all work meets strict safety standards and company policies. Your day will also include keeping accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and labor hours for every job. You will be the linchpin of our customer service and shop operations, making sure every detail is handled with care and precision.
AUTO SERVICE WRITER REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in similar roles and mechanic service environments
- Excellent customer service skills for positive client interaction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow procedures
- Experience working with shop management software and sourcing parts
- Proficiency in diesel mechanical knowledge, diagnostics, and repair techniques for various vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Ability to multitask
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with operating trucks and heavy equipment (preferred)
