A day in this role

Picture your morning kicking off with a plan: you open client-approved planning tools, organize the day’s Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) maintenance tasks, and align them with AP-930 standards. You head to the field for walkdowns, sharpening work package quality with real-world insights. Back at your desk, you coordinate with vendor/craft supervisors, Work Management, Operations, and Engineering to resolve open items and sharpen scope.

As the day unfolds, you review engineering changes, contribute to Work Breakdown Structure discussions, and verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, vendor recommendations, and maintenance directives. You identify and recommend materials for purchase to ensure efficient execution. You track outage milestones, support schedule rotations, and leverage Action Way (Corrective Action Program) and Maximo to keep everything visible and auditable. Some tasks may be performed in hazardous or radiological areas within NRC-prescribed limits.

What you’ll bring

• Associate degree in a physical science or engineering discipline, or equivalent technical training/equipment experience in nuclear power plant maintenance.
• 5+ years of power plant experience in maintenance or operations, including at least 3 years in a nuclear facility.
• Hands-on Maximo experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $45/hr to $75/hr.
