Job Description

You shouldn't have to choose between good miles and being home for your family. Our Southwest Regional Fleet, running out of Dallas, was built so you don't have to.

On the Road:

Weekly home time for your 34-hour reset, built into the route plan
2,200 to 2,500 miles a week, with an average haul of 400 miles
100% no-touch freight, mostly drop and hook (50 to 60%), the rest live unload
Drive newer trucks: 2021 and up Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths

In Your Pocket:

$1,200 to $1,600 average weekly gross
Mileage pay of $0.54 to $0.60 CPM based on experience
Up to 3 CPM in monthly performance bonus, tied to safety and productivity, starting the month after hire
$12.50 per hour in detention pay past the 2-hour mark
$100 per day if you hit a layover or breakdown
A $3,000 sign-on bonus paid out $1,500 at 90 days and $1,500 at 6 months

Looked After:

Round-the-clock support staff
Paid vacation that builds over your career: 1 week to start, up to 4 weeks after 15 years

Requirements:

Must be 21 or older
Valid driver's license in the US or territories, held 12+ consecutive months
Current Class A CDL from a single state
Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer (40ft+) experience in the last 36 months, or Extended Road Test eligible (6 months in last 5 years or 12 in last 10)
Max 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no preventable CMV accidents in the last 5 years
No more than 3 jobs in the past 12 months
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years (5 years if prior to CDL-A)
Must pass hair follicle and urine drug testing, plus DOT physical
