At Northpointe Bank, we believe your career should empower you — to grow, contribute, and find purpose. We’re hiring an IT Risk Analyst to support the Bank’s Information Security and IT risk management activities through audit coordination, risk tracking, and control remediation support.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to grow their knowledge of information security, risk frameworks, and regulatory expectations while partnering closely with IT, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate internal and external IT audit activities, including evidence collection, validation, and tracking
- Work with IT process owners to ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Track audit findings, remediation plans, and follow-up items to support timely resolution
- Assist in maintaining the Information Security risk register, documenting risks, controls, and mitigation efforts
- Support risk assessments by gathering data, reviewing control documentation, and summarizing results
- Identify and document control gaps and recommended mitigation actions
- Perform third-party risk assessments as part of vendor due diligence
- Map Complementary User Entity Controls (CUECs) to internal controls and track implementation status
- Assist with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) documentation and testing activities
- Support Information Security awareness and training initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations
What You Bring:
- Associate degree, coursework, or technical training in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed is a plus
- 1–3 years of experience in IT, information security, risk, compliance, audit support, or a related role preferred
- Foundational understanding of IT risk and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, FFIEC) preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn GRC or risk tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling sensitive information with discretion
