Key Responsibilities:
As a Grounds Technician at SPM, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for keeping the premises of the apartment community in clean and orderly condition.- Assist with pool maintenance if needed- Assist with exterior maintenance- Assist with parking lot maintenance- Assist with applicance installation process- Assist with light duty service requests when needed.- Participates in on-call rotation- Provides professional and courteous customer service and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc.- Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventive maintenance program- Other duties as may be assigned.- Conduct all business in accordance with Summerfields policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, and all other Federal and States laws.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- High school education or equivalent.- Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required- Good safety habits.- Work Hours: 40 hours per week with flexible work-week, including weekends.
- Basic computer skills with the willingness to learn Summerfield's computer systems- Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
- May need to utilize personal transportation. - Must have valid drivers license and automobile insurance.Benefits:
