The schedule for this position is Thursday through Sunday, consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Parts and Warranty Administrator is responsible for maintaining inventory, submitting warranty claims, processing parts, returning cores to vendors, and tracking warranty periods of all parts. This position serves as a liaison between manufacturers and vendors resolving claims and requesting authorizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Maintenance, Technology or a related filed. A combination of education and experience may be substituted
- A minimum of three years of related parts management experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency
- A drive to deliver customer service excellence
- Ability to prioritize, work proficiently under time constraints, process information quickly and make sound business decisions
- Solid understanding of how procurement principles, including planning, transportation, shipping cost and negotiation techniques impact purchasing
- Able to travel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN’s service area. Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile in good repair, provide proof of auto insurance and meet LFN’s Driver’s Policy requirements
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Track inventory and stock as needed electronically
- File and track warranty claims, returns and cores
- Process warranty parts/core returns to vendors
- Verify criteria required by vendor or manufacturer prior to submission of claims
- Provide warranty verification, authorization and support for LFN aircraft
- Work with accounting to process vendor and customer credits
- Maintain inventory control of cores/returns
- Perform required receiving inspection for new and continued-serviced parts for serviceability, including but not limited to, verifying certification from manufacturer or overhaul facility and inspecting for shipping damage
- Familiarity with supply chain management, inventory control, and materials management productivity techniques utilizing industry accepted best practices
SAFETY
- Ensure adherence to LFN safety and risk management culture as outlined in Safety and Risk Management Agreement, SMS, and related policies
- Preserve safety and risk management culture and rules
- Report all concerns related to safety and risk management immediately, working with Director of Safety and Risk Management, Director of Quality Management and others as needed
- Be knowledgeable regarding all safety and risk management policies and procedures; be an agent for communicating safety and risk management information
