The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Legal Services Specialist in the District Attorney’s Office.

The ideal candidate:
\n
· Extensive knowledge of legal office procedures and practices, including familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and court filing requirements.
\n
· Demonstrated ability to provide high-level administrative support in a confidential and fast-paced legal environment.
\n
· Proficiency in preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal correspondence and documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
\n
· Experience supporting attorneys or legal staff, including managing communications and case-related documentation.
\n
· Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records and case files.
\n
· Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements related to legal work and handling of sensitive information.
\n
· Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, clients, and outside agencies.

Education and Experience:
Minimum: Equivalent to graduation from high school and one (1) year of responsible office support experience involving the preparation and processing of legal documents for court action.
\n
Preferred: Completion of 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an accredited college with major coursework in business, public administration, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience as a legal secretary in a legal office or court setting.
Salary/Compensation: $3,822 - $4,205 per month
