Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Data Analyst to serve as a key contact for financial reporting and data-driven insights. This role is responsible for supporting period-end close processes, analyzing large sets of financial data, and delivering actionable insights that enhance business decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of finance knowledge, technical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis:

  1. Perform recurring and ad-hoc financial data queries, reports, and performance analyses.
  2. Support period-end and weekly reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Conduct detailed variance analysis and trend reporting to support business decisions.
  4. Period Close Management:
  5. Oversee and coordinate period-end close activities across key financial metrics.
  6. Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data during close cycles.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  8. Partner with IT and Financial Control teams to maintain data integrity and report accuracy.
  9. Liaise with multiple business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver insights.
  10. Special Projects:
  11. Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for strategic and operational projects as needed.
  12. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvements.


Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Accounting, or a related field.
  2. 1–3 years of experience in financial data analysis, including experience in:
  3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  4. Business performance evaluation
  5. Financial Accounting and Control
  6. Financial reporting and data analytics


Preferred Qualifications (if any)

  1. Experience with financial systems, databases, or reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  2. Familiarity with business intelligence platforms and Excel-based modeling.
  3. Exposure to automation and process improvement initiatives.

Certifications (if any)

  1. No specific certifications required.
  2. Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or data analytics certifications are a plus.
