Pay Rate: $20/hr to $21/hr
Job Type: 12 Month Contract to Hire
Location: Bapchule (North of Maricopa), AZ 85121
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Operator I to join our team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, operating forklifts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and has prior forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
Transport pallets, crates, totes, and materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Store products in designated warehouse locations while following inventory control procedures.
Verify shipment accuracy and inspect loads for safe transport.
Stack empty pallets and maintain organized storage areas.
Perform daily forklift inspections, including battery charging and basic equipment maintenance.
Remove machine attachments and waste materials as needed.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Utilize RF scanners, tablets, and computer systems for inventory transactions, communication, and required training.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience required.
Ability to obtain OSHA forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
Basic computer skills with the ability to enter data using a tablet.
Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Technical aptitude preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Reliable attendance and flexibility to support business needs.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience using RF scanners is preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required.
