Our client is looking for a dynamic Senior K-12 Architect to lead their Minnesota education design team.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This senior-level position will lead the Minnesota K-12 practice, working on a diverse portfolio of educational projects while mentoring emerging talent and growing into a leadership role within the firm.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead project development from concept through construction with a collaborative design team
- Direct teams in creating and executing construction documents
- Mentor entry-level architects in design, production, and technical coordination
- Attend project and client meetings as the primary design professional
- Grow into senior leadership responsibilities within the practice
- Apply strong technical design and detailing expertise across all project phases
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
- 4- or 5-year degree in Architecture or related field
- Minnesota state architecture license (or eligible for reciprocity)
- 10+ years of experience in a design firm
- 5+ years of K-12 design experience
- Strong design, construction documentation, and construction administration background
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural specifications, building codes, life safety codes, and ADA requirements
- Self-motivated with strong independent problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with remote work and local travel
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented approach
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, and similar design/construction software
- Genuine passion for architecture
