POSITION SUMMARY
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent technical school graduate looking to get their start at a fast‐growing technology company. As a member of our team, you’ll gain hands‐on exposure to a wide range of products and services, along with meaningful opportunities for continued learning, professional growth, and career advancement. A NOC Imaging Technician is to provision and stage endpoint and network hardware, maintain documentation and inventory, and manage shipping and receiving. This is a full‐time, on‐site role based at our headquarters location in Melville, NY. The salary for this position is $40,000-$45,000.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provision and configure endpoint devices (PCs, tablets, thin clients) following imaging standards and policies.
- Stage and baseline servers/firewalls/switches and other network equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation for device configurations, assets, and deployment procedures.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, logging, labeling, tracking, and organizing hardware.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving to ensure equipment is packaged and delivered efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve imaging and deployment workflows and enhance documentation.
DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of basic subnetting
- Knowledge of OSI Model
- Positive, motivated learner with strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
- Customer‐service mindset focused on reliability and user experience
- A desire to improve skillset by earning industry certifications (We pay for them!)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical, documentation‐first approach
- Comfortable following standard operating procedures for imaging, deployments, and supporting workflow with suggestions for improvement
- Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability in resolving issues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize issues based on severity and SLA impact
- Likes to have fun and laugh with a great team
