Career Strategies is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Porter to join a well-established apartment community in the Portland, OR 97223 area. This is a full-time opportunity with immediate start available!

Position Summary:
As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the apartment community’s grounds, amenities, and common areas. Your work plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and well-kept environment for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain grounds, community amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.
- Perform daily trash pickup around the property and perimeter.
- Complete trash removal from vacant units (trash-outs) to assist in make-ready preparation.
- Support the maintenance team with apartment cleaning and turnover tasks.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Provide assistance with basic maintenance, such as minor carpentry, electrical, or mechanical repairs.
- Support seasonal property needs, including snow removal (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately.
- Previous groundskeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
