Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Java opening for our client in Tampa, FL.
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 12 months
Duties:

Design, develop, and support applications using Java/JEE and related frameworks.

Implement enterprise application features including transaction management, dependency injection, and batch processing.

Integrate systems and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

Apply test-driven development and DevOps practices for delivery and support.
Skills & Experience:
-
Proficiency in Java/JEE, Ruby or Groovy, and web technologies.

Hands-on experience with enterprise integration, functional programming, and TDD.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies.
-
Prior enterprise application development experience required.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
