Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Janitor to join our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for keeping our building and surrounding areas clean, safe, and orderly. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean environment and is proactive about cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.

Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.

Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Clean glass surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and partitions.

Polish furniture and fixtures as needed.

Monitor safety and security by locking doors and checking for hazards after hours.

Notify supervisors of repairs needed to building systems or infrastructure.

Requisition cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.

Assist in setup and takedown of equipment and furniture for company events.

Clean outdoor areas including parking lots and walkways.
Qualifications & Skills:

6 months or more of janitorial or related experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment, or willingness to learn.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds utilizes a team lift.
