Job Description
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. This role supports manufacturing operations by helping ensure equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, PLC diagnostics, and automated manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Perform PLC fault-finding, troubleshooting, and basic programming support.
- Maintain industrial processing equipment, production machinery, and support systems.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with procurement of replacement components.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to meet manufacturing goals.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document maintenance activities and track work orders.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with industrial controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CMMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Industry certifications related to electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance disciplines.
- Associate degree or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience maintaining kilns, furnaces, ovens, vacuum systems, or other high-temperature manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, ceramics, glass, precision manufacturing, or process manufacturing environments.
Work Environment:
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting activities.
- Occasional overtime, on-call support, or weekend work may be required.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to industrial equipment and production operations.
- Work may involve exposure to elevated temperatures, industrial noise, and dusty environments.
