Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Schedule (2-2-3)
Pay Rate: $27.85/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations by building, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring machine reliability, safety, quality, and efficiency through preventive maintenance, programming, calibration, and continuous improvement efforts.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical, mechanical, PLC, and robotics knowledge, with the ability to work independently during a rotating night shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, fabricate, relocate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Program, adjust, and troubleshoot PLCs and robotic systems (Omron preferred)
• Diagnose electrical (AC/DC voltage) and mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and kaizen activities
• Fabricate and modify parts as needed to support operations
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
• Follow operator instructions, safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain 5S standards in all work areas
• Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and other departments
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Support company initiatives such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and continuous improvement programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 2-year Technical Degree and/or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• 1–3 years of experience working with AC/DC voltage in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance strongly preferred

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with PLC programming (Omron preferred)
• Working knowledge of robotics and servo systems
• Ability to fabricate and modify mechanical components
• Ability to read and interpret technical/operator instructions
• Forklift operation experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for 8–12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach overhead regularly
• Ability to apply up to 66 lbs of push/pull force unassisted
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to work safely around high voltage equipment
