No Longer Bound is seeking a Camp Counselor to support a positive, engaging, and safe camp experience for children in Levittown, PA.

Position Summary

The Camp Counselor is a temporary, onsite role responsible for guiding campers through daily activities while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, helping others learn and grow, and contributing to a fun, structured community.

As a Camp Counselor, you will model appropriate behavior, assist with activity facilitation, and help ensure campers’ needs are met throughout the day. You will work closely with camp staff to deliver an organized, age-appropriate program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise campers during scheduled activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure their safety and well-being

  • Assist with planning and leading age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and other camp activities

  • Support daily routines, including attendance, cleanliness, and basic readiness for activities

  • Build positive relationships with campers by encouraging teamwork, respect, and appropriate conduct

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and other staff regarding camper needs, incidents, or changes to the day’s schedule

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work onsite in Levittown, PA on a temporary basis

  • Experience working with children (formal or informal) and a demonstrated comfort engaging them appropriately

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain patient, calm, and positive with campers

  • Dependability and readiness to follow camp procedures and supervision expectations

  • Willingness to support a structured daily schedule and maintain a safe environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior camp, youth program, or coaching experience

  • Experience facilitating group activities and keeping children engaged in a positive way

  • Familiarity with basic safety practices and effective supervision strategies in youth settings

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working as part of a team

Compensation

Weekly salary: $525.00
